Apple Introduces New iMac line

Apple presents the new desktop lines of iMacs. It comes with Intel's Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors plus an ATI Radeon graphics. You'll surely gonna love it.

Last Tuesday, introduced its all-in-one lines of iMacs. Bringing with these improvements are ’s i3, i5 and i7 processors plus an ATI Radeon graphics.

The new line is considered the fastest ever with processor which speeds up to 3.6 GHz, quad-core that speeds up to 2.93 GHz and discrete graphics including the ATI Radeon HD 5750. It comes with the tag price of $1,199.

“We took the world’s best all-in-one and made it even better,” mentioned  Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. He added that, “With the latest processors, high-performance graphics and signature aluminum and glass design, customers are going to love the latest iMac.”

Apple is confident that with Dual-core Intel Core i3 and Core i5, and quad-core Core i5 and Core i7, it will bring out the maximum potential of iMac line. The new iMac is equipped with processors with integrated memory controller making it at the top spot with its 1333 MHz memory.

The ATI Radeon HD processors are made to deliver fascinating sharp graphics for 3D games, softwares and other applications. Another bonus is the IPS technology used by iMac display that produces images covering a wide 178 degree angle.

The SD card slot on these new iMac supports the SDXC format to accommodate the high-capacity storage cards. Those who will choose the 27-inch iMac have the choice to either have the 256GB solid state drive (SSD) as a primary or secondary drive. Moreover, the iMac SSD supports up to 215 MB/s data transfer made for faster desktop launch times.

The new 21.5-inch 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 iMac, for a suggested retail price of $1,199 (US), includes:

  • 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM expandable to 16GB;
