iPhone and iPad users can breathe freely now, as Apple got a fix for every PDF security exploit. All owners have to do is wait for the next software update. Hackers, beware!

already developed a fix for the and security exploit, as stated by the company today. This security problem lets any do critical damage on iOS devices by simply opening an unreliable PDF file. According to an Apple Spokesperson, ” We’re aware of this reported issue, we have already developed a fix and it will be available to customers in an upcoming software update.” There’s no specific date given, but it may arrive soon since the damage is quite severe.

Such corruption occurs when a user visits a web page with a PDF that contains program that can result to stack overflow. This gives the hacker a deep access to the user’s iPhone or iPad. This is possible in any device running iOS 3.1.2 or later. The exploit is actually similar to for iPhone 4 and iOS 4. It stands to reason that Apple’s fix can also stop the jailbreak from functioning. If you want to use the current, web-based jailbreaking tool, get out of the next software update’s way.
