Lizzie McGuire Star Hilary Duff is Married

Our favorite Lizzie McGuire star lives out her fantasies in real life as she ties the knot and enters married life.
Hilary Duff…we saw her as the cool girl Lizzie Mcguire. Since then we wanted to be just like Lizzie. We saw her with Agent Cody Banks and we shared the fairy tale on the her “A Cinderella Story” movie. And now our favorite teen icon, ties the knot.
The 22-year-old Disney actress officially enters the veil of marriage. She married her boyfriend of two years, Mike Cormie, 29 inn an intimate sunset ceremony on the $29 million estate on the verge of San Ysidro Ranch, Montecito, California last Saturday.
More or less 100 people came, all from the close friends and family members of the happy couple. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony on the poolside with cocktails just before the ceremony began at dusk.
Hilary wore a strapless Vera Wang gown, hair tied up. She journey through the altar with her mother Susan, while her younger sister Haylie Duff was maid of honor.
A witness said, “It was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning. They thought of every last detail and it was an incredible sight.”
The couple got engaged last February on a Hawaiian vacation. Comrie got down on his knees and offered the 14-carat, radiant cut sparkler in Maui. Hilary is very hands on while planning the wedding.
“[I] came home to a big stack of magazines from my family,” said Duff, who had “tear sheets all over my house” in her quest to find the perfect gown. “It’s very exciting!”
The pair was in a long-distance relationship before getting married. But Hilary said that their relationship is just a natural relationship.
“We both have busy jobs, and we’re both very focused people, so that helps,” the actress tells Us. “Since we are apart so much, it’s not like one person is at home waiting for the other.”
What makes Comrie her perfect match?
“He’s a great guy,” Duff gushes. “I’ve never met anyone who could say a bad word about him. He’s generous, caring, funny. We just laugh our heads off, which I need in my life … He’s unique. I wouldn’t want to be with someone who wasn’t unique.”
