New Acer Laptop Announcements Kick Off this Week

Something new is coming the Acer way this week, and you will love the additional extras they've included on their laptops. And though it might not come in as a complete surprise to you, you might just like the new systems all the same.
From the long-life TimelineX series to the 3D-enabled systems, a handful of laptop announcements from Acer take off this week.
First on the list is Acer Aspire 5745DG. It has Nvidia’s 3D Vision Technology and GT 420M graphics, and Intel Core i5 CPU. The system will be available late next month for $999. Next is a trio of multimedia laptops: Acer Aspire AS5742G, AS5745 and AS7745. All, except AS5745, uses Nvidia’s Optimus graphics switching technology and Intel’s Core i3, i5 and i7 CPUs. The AS7745 uses ATI’s Radeon 5650 as its GPU. However, there in so concrete price and availability details about the trio yet.
Third on the list is Acer Aspire AS89943G, which is a refresh of the existing 18.4-inch laptop. It has a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, uses quad core Intel Core i7 as CPU, and ATI Radeon 5850 GPU. With a price tag of $1,499, this model will hit the market immediately. Lastly comes Acer Aspire 1830T. The 1830T is an 11-inch ultra-portable laptop from the Timeline family that uses the ULV version of Intel’s Core i7 CPU. This new product will come with a whooping $899.
