Fox Gives Go Signal for Avatar 2 and 3

Film outfit, 20th Century Fox, made the nod for James Cameron to start working on Avatar sequels. The two back-to-back movies will likely to hit theaters on 2014 and 2015.
Fox made it official today that James Cameron’s next two masterpieces, Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 will kick-off its production next year. The release of the Avatar sequels are planned for December 2014 and 2015, respectively. This news also answers the question whether Cameron will direct the 3D Cleopatra film which will star Angelina Jolie. Another rumor spreading its that Fox have to provide “huge donation” to environmental charities in order for Cameron to get the project going, which is not a bad favor after all.

“In the second and third films, which will be self contained stories that also fulfill a greater story arc, we will not back off the throttle of AVATAR’s visual and emotional horsepower, and will continue to explore its themes and characters, which touched the hearts of audiences in all cultures around the world. I’m looking forward to returning to Pandora, a world where our imaginations can run wild.”
