With Google TV just around the corner, we look forward to it almost everytime we see a Google logo. Logitech offers us a glimpse of their Google TV line products. But Sony doesn't want to be left behind.

’s launch is simply a highly-anticipated event. We’ve read an article saying that is unveiling the “’s line of products for TV” in San Francisco and New York. The event is due next week with ’s unveiling of the “World’s First Internet Television.”

The invite said that Logitech CEO Jerry Quindlen will reveal the entire line of Google TV products to die for. The company was the official hardware launch partner of Google.

Here’s the snitch about Logitech’s Google TV line: A companion box, the Logitech Revue. The box gives the hardware necessary to integrate Google TV with your cable or satellite. The alleged price of the box is $299. Another add-on to the Revue box, Logitech is also working on a variety of peripherals for Google TV, including keyboards and remotes.

But Sony wouldn’t be far from the power of Google TV. The company will unveil a new line of HDTVs. Google TV invasion starts on October 12 in New York.

I love my Logitech Revue and the app market would make it even better! I have been had my Revue since November and will never give it back. I love being able to go from watching TV to Surfing the Net and the same time. I work at DISH Network and you can get it for a discounted price of $179 from DISH Network
