Sprint: Coming Clean with Sanyo Zio

Something new is heading the mobile arena courtesy of Sprint. After Cricket, Sprint Wireless puts a spin on Sanyo and Kyocera's Sanyo Zio at this year's CTIA Fall 2010 in San Francisco.

During the CTIA Show, consumers kept hearing that and ’s Zio will land Cricket and Wireless. With Cricket following through last month, finally came out with their own version of at the fall event of CTIA in San Francisco. Sprint’s is akin to the Cricket phone, only it has a chrome border, runs on Android OS 2.1 and carries the Sprint ID feature.

The Sanyo Zio by Sprint uses the Sprint ID menu, so users can switch from one home screen to another — which are also called identities. It also has a thin profile, with the power control and memory card slot on the right side. Sprint’s Sanyo Zio has a virtual keyboard for texting and dialing, and the rear cover is made of soft touch material with the speaker and 3.2 megapixel camera lens at the top
