Inazuma Eleven 3 Donates 20,000 Soccer Balls to African Kids

Who says playing video games won't help save the world?

frenzy isn’t over yet as children in will receive a total of 20,000 balls thanks to ’s latest hit game, 3 Spark and Bomber edition.

Marking an impressive sales run of 1,101,040 units by the end of September, where 11 yen of each unit sold, a total of 12,111,440 yen will be donated and used to buy a whopping 20,000 soccer balls. The program is part of 11 for Africa, a charity jointly led by Japanese soccer legend Hide Nakata’s NPO Take Action Foundation.

Donation amount will be finalized later as Level 5 announces that they will include Inazuma Eleven 3 Spark and Bomber game sales through the end of March 2011.

The soccer balls will be used to aid the education programs of for South African Children.

And your mom said video games won’t get you anywhere.
