NVIDIA and Alienware Holds Call of Duty: Black Ops Tournament

It was just a matter of time before somebody would hold a tournament for the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops. Now we got one, a massive one. Get ready for glory!

Okay, I know it’s a little late but this is big and still relatively relevant. , one of the world’s two leading graphic card companies ever and , a brand that needs no more introduction to hardcore gamers, are currently accepting entires for NVIDIA Tournament for US and Canada residents. Registration has begun last December 8 and will continue up to January 16th, 2011.

Gamers will take on the rest of the North American gaming population as they vie for the title of champion and a whopping $1,500 cash prize. But they need to own their adversaries with unique and adapting tactis first in either Search & Destroy, Capture the Flag, and Demoliton and Domination mode.

Preliminary Play will commence from January 17 to February 17, 2011. The playoffs begins on February 18 to March 24. The NVIDIA Call of Duty: Black Ops Tournament will be hosted by iGames and CEVO.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Join the elite special forces once more for another mission that will engage you to classified operations, explosive conflicts, and covert warfare across the globe.
