Since the hackers are pestering even Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook rolls out fresh security measures that border on knowing the other person too well.

After the news that Mark Zuckerberg’s personal fan page was hacked, team immediately implemented new security measures. This time, the security features are stricter and more protective of the private pieces of information belonging to the users.

The first preventive measure done is the ability to view Facebook through HTTPS. This creates right away an secured connection over a detected insecure network. Hopefully, this solution will help unauthorized use of passwords. The drawback is that HTTPS shortens page loading time. Switch to this feature by going to the Account Settings page.

Another remedy made by Facebook for hacking attacks is the verification of user’s identity through “social authentication test.” If Facebook finds suspicious activity on your profile, you’ll be ask to verify your account not by typing captcha phrases but by naming the people found on your photos.
