The Angry Birds flew away from the top spot of free games at the App Store all because of a game simply called Bubble Ball.
The highly popular Angry Birds recently moved out of the top spot on the App Store’s top free games. The holiday edition of the popular game was knocked out on the App Store by a game simply called Bubble Ball. Who’s the developer behind this brilliant game? Surprise! He’s an eighth grader.
Young app developer Robert Nay, resident of Utah, created the game with his mom using the Corona SDK from Ansca Mobile. The Bubble Ball game was launched in the App Store three weeks ago and has been downloaded over 1.5 million times which helped the game climb on the top spot. On the other hand, Angry Birds dropped to the fourth spot. But Rovio need not to worry since Angry Birds still reigns as the Top Paid Games category.
