We cannot deny that iPad's charm got most people's nods. On the other hand, Galaxy Tab is the first tablet to have the features comparable to iPad. Allwelike's last say? iPad is a sure hit but Galaxy Tab cannot be taken for granted.

made the world go round for quite and it did not last long upon the arrival of Samsung’s . The great battle between Android and iOS shifted to tablets. In case you are caught in the middle of this war, let Allwelike clear all the confusion.

Before Allwelike start the comparison, get to know first fast facts about a tablet. A tablet is more or less like a notebook. A small computer that substitutes the laptop. Using your fingers, you touch and swipe the features to execute a command. A smart device that lets you do multi tasking. It is portable and helps you get things done anytime and anywhere.

SIZE DOES MATTER

There is no denying that the wins this part. Not only does it sports a smaller body than the iPad, it is very light on the hands as well. It may run a smaller screen but then if you’re the “on-the-go” type of person Galaxy Tab will be your pwefect copmpanion.

CHEAPER OR PRICIER

The Galaxy Tab sells for $100 less which makes it the same price with the iPad. It is a draw for the two tablets in this category.

THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS

The A4 processor that the iPad sports is relatively similar to the A8 Cortex CPU the Galaxy Tab uses. At this point, the two tablets perform commands at the same speed.

SCREEN

With a retina display, iPad wins the award for the screen clarity. Besides the LED backlighting and the 9.7-inch span, it uses in-plane switching (IPS) technology. IBy which it gives it a viewing angle unrivaled by the cheaper twisted-nematic (TN) screens used in most other devices. The Galaxy Tab offers a 16:9 display ratio, which is preferable for watching movies, but it also reduces resolution (from 1024 x 768 on the iPad to just 1024 x 600) and shrinks to just 7 inches across.

APPLICATIONS

With the ever-dependable and the apps both free and paid surely makes the iPad the winner. Developers still opt to develop Apps rather than Android versions.

BATTERY LIFE

Battery lives of these two devices are at the same level. A lasting battery life still depends on the number of tasks performed by the gadget.

MEDIA

If you are thinking that the iPad finishes the deal here you’re wrong. Samsung Galaxy got our vote since it supports Flash which the iPad does not. Along the same lines, Samsung claims it will handle formats such as DivX, Xvid and WMV that the iPad does not natively support.

THE VERDICT

We cannot deny that iPad’s charm got most people’s nods. On the other hand, Galaxy Tab is the first tablet to have the features comparable to iPad. Allwelike’s last say? iPad is a sure hit but Galaxy Tab cannot be taken for granted.
