Microsoft’s CES 2011 Keynote

Did you missed the first day of CES 2011 at Las Vegas? Would you like to know what Steve Ballmer's Microsoft keynote is all about? Well, stop whining because All We Like got it covered.

’s Steve gave his much awaited keynote, as kicks off at Las Vegas yesterday. Are there any Windows Phone 7 updates or new devices coming? Will there be Windows Phone 8? And what’s this much rumored ? In case you missed the fun, All We Like is bringing you Steve ’s keynote at CES 2011 yesterday.

First on the list is Kinect. From controlling movies, to sports and music using your body movement, Kinect will soon land on Netflix. In addition to this, Microsoft is bringing Xbox Live to HuluPlus. But Xbox Live gold users are definitely in for a treat with Avatar Kinect. Coming for free this Spring, the Avatar Kinect can sense your facial expression. Cool, huh?

Furthermore, Xbox Live title will be available to Windows Phone 7. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you have a Game Room on your smartphone? As an initial treat, the Fable Coin Golf will hit WP7 devices and it seems that more titles are yet to come. More on Windows Phone 7, Steve Ballmer promised that Microsoft will be releasing an update soon. Therefore, expect a copy-and-paste feature and boost in speed. Furthermore, by the first half of 2011, Windows Phone 7 will be available on Sprint and Verizon.

Last, but definitely not the least, are the Windows PCs. The next generation of Windows PCs will support SOC architecture from Intel, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, AMD and Texas Instruments. Also up for order now are Sandy Bridge systems, the Galactic — all in IE 9 with hardware acceleration, the Mac-like HP DM1 with AMD Fusion, Acer dual screen, Samsung PC7, and ASUS’s 12-inch Windows 7 tablet. Indeed, there will be an exciting year for the industry and the consumers courtesy of Microsoft.
