Samsung Galaxy Player Ships to Europe on Friday

Apple should be thrilled, for the first attempt to overthrow the iPod Touch is here. According to Amazon UK, the Samsung Galaxy Player is on its way to our palms by January 7.
While America will have to wait for summer to get hold of the ultimate iPod Touch competition a.k.a Samsung’s 3.2-inch Galaxy Player, Europe will be able to touch it this week. The Galaxy Player is out on Amazon UK. According to the pre-sale post, the Galaxy Player is on for a tentative release on January 7th. Amazon UK even provided prices and specs for the device. The device will be carrying two memory capacities, one is 8GB which sells for £150 (about $234) and a 16GB for £180 (roughly $280). Unfortunately, they are a bit short since there is no Retina Display to compare it with. But let’s see what’s in store for us.
