Tablets, Smartphone and Fast Networks at CES 2011

CES 2011 gave the spotlight to smartphones, tablets, and mobile networks as manufacturers showed off their respective products. More over, CES also allowed home appliance makers to present their products for the first time.

Tablets and smartphones took the spotlight at as , Samsung and showcased their powerful devices. In addition to this, mobile service carriers also showed up their faster Internet networks. The Chief Executive of Communications, Ivan Seidenberg, pointed out the company’s plans to provide boosted Internet connection on mobile phones and fiber lines on his keynote. Nextel and are also on a race to attract potential consumers of their mobile networks.

Motorola announced its tablet that features Flash video software and Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The Motorola tablet will hit the market on February. Aside from Motorola, LG also unveiled its tablet that will run on T-Mobile’s network. Research in Motion, on the other hand, released its BalckBerry Playbook that will land on Sprint to the CES 2011 attendees.

Souped-up dashboards and car technologies were also present at CES 2011 courtesy of Hyundai, Audi and Ford. Home appliance manufacturers were also allowed to showcased their products at the event for the first time. It seems that CES 2011 is really kicking off head on, making manufacturers and consumers to anticipate innovations in technology.
