Twitter Goes Korean

Good news South Korea! Twitter is now available in Hangul. Are you ready to tweet "Annyong haseyo!"?

just added its seventh language – () – in its arsenal. According to the microblogging site’s blog post (which is entirely in Korean), South Korea has been one of the fastest growing region for the company. That said, Twitter made the site available in Korean. In addition to this, the company’s mobile web site is now translated in Korean also.

With 70% of its accounts belonging to people outside US, Twitter is now available in Japanese, German, Spanish, French, Italian, English and Korean. Twitter also pointed out in their blog post that they intend to support as many languages by the end of the year. If you are a Korean and you already have a Twitter account, you can change your language to Hangul by going to the Settings page.
