That's just an exaggeration, you don't really need to get drunk to help charities. Just drink moderately.

A California-based winery named donates half of its profits to charities like Keep a Child Alive, which provides medication to families with AIDS.

ONEHOPE Wine started in 2006 with the goal to make a difference. One of the CEOs, Jake Kloberdanz, said that their products are made with excellent quality and not sold merely for raising funds.

“As a stand alone bottle of wine, you notice that, for the price point, [between $10-$15 a bottle] it really over-delivers as far as the package and quality of wine,” Kloberdanz said.

Other charities which the wine company supports are Sauvignon Blanc, Charity Water and California Zinfandel.

Aside from New York , the company plans to expand to other locations and will partner with many other charities in the days to come.
