Elizabeth Taylor Passes Away at 79

Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor died, also known as Liz Taylor died in the morning of March 23 at the age of 79.
Liz Taylor was declared dead at 1:28 am at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she had been confined for the past weeks.
Taylor’s publicist, Michael Wilding says the actress died “peacefully” from congestive heart failure, “a condition with which she had struggled with for many years.” He added that
“Though she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home. Sadly, this was not to be.”
In an interview with TMZ, Wilding said Taylor was “surrounded by her children — Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton” when she said goodbye.
Taylor was born on February 27, 1932 and entered Hollywood as a child star. She won two Academy Awards both for Best Actress, and is considered as one of the greatest actresses of Hollywood’s golden age. Liz Taylor was also given the Jean Herscholt Humanitarian Academy Award in 1992 for her work fighting AIDS.
