Ever since Twitter became popular, hackers and other malware programmers made the micro-blogging site their favorite spot to spread viruses and worms.

Ever since its unveiling at SxSW Interactive 2007, Twitter has struggled with malware of various kinds. From clickjacking to scams to hacking, Twitter has become one of the most popular social tools used to spread viruses and other malware in the world-wide web. Then in 2010, security concerns about Twitter became so extensive that FTC investigated the service and its anti-malware measures.
