When your iPhone 4 falls from a high place, like a plane hovering 1,000 feet above the ground, don't worry. The principle of Physics applies to any falling objects.

Air Force combat controller, , is a jump master who makes sure that the plane is in its right location before handing parachute jumpers over the mercy of gravity. But one day, when he was leaning out of the plane somewhere above North Carolina, his slipped out. After that, Ron Walker’s sure that his relationship with his has been terminated.

Once Ron Walker literally got his feet back on the ground, he was soon reunited with his phone with the help of a friend, ATV and MobileMe. And guess what? His iPhone 4 was completely unscathed! Ron Walker believes that the fall of his iPhone 4 from a plane over 1,000 feet above the ground, was preempted by the leaves and pine needles of the forested area where it landed.

Though there are some algebraic equations involved in figuring out what happened to Ron Walker’s iPhone as it falls, there are only two things that matter — weight and drag. With an object’s weight still the same as it falls, the drag increases so as its velocity. And when the drag reaches to a point equal to an object’s weight, the acceleration will stop. So with something not too heavy like iPhone 4, its fall can be that of a paper or a feather, only it happened a bit later.

Hence, a survival of a jump master’s iPhone 4 can be the best example to answer that real-life Math and SAT question.
