‘iSteve’ to be released on 2012

No, ‘iSteve’ is not a new gadget by Apple. It’s the company’s big boss’ life story -- in a book.

has finally authorized the making of his biography “: The Book of Jobs”. announced just this Sunday that the book will be written by Walter Isaacson and will be published early next year.

Rumors from way back say that Isaacson has long been with the biography, and has started interviewing Jobs, his family, colleagues at and even competitors, since 2009.

Isaacson already authored biographies of Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein and Henry Kissinger, and currently heads the Aspen Institute, a non-profit think tank.

“Just as he did with Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, Walter Isaacson is telling a unique story of revolutionary genius,” Simon & Schuster publisher Jonathan Karp said.

Simon & Schuster spokeswoman Tracey Guest said no further details were available and that neither Jobs nor Isaacson would be commenting.

, has been having several health problems at 56. The Apple big boss announced in January that he would take his third leave of absence in seven years. Although Jobs has not released any details about his latest health issues, it is known that has survived a rare but curable form of pancreatic cancer during and already undergone a liver transplant. He appeared at a press conference in early March to announce the iPad 2.
