A research company, Gartner, concluded in its recent analysis that Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform will overtake Apple’s iOS, four years from now. As if that’s not enough to make your head itchy, the company even added that Microsoft will amass 19.5% of the world-wide smartphone sales by 2015.
However, the chart below also indicates that Google’s Android is the OS to beat. The Android OS has an estimated 49.2% of market shares next year.
