D.A. Steve Cooley: Stop Connecting MJ to Nation of Islam

Los Angeles District Attorney, Steve Cooley, is making preemptive measure in making Michael Jackson an unsympathetic character. What's the connection of Nation of Islam with MJ's death case, anyway?
Los Angeles County District Attorney, Steve Cooley, filed a motion to the judge in charge of Michael Jackson’s death case to stop Conrad Murray’s team in using any evidences involving the Nation of Islam. According to the District Attorney’s documents:
“Evidence concerning the Nation of Islam … is irrelevant to this case because it does not relate to the defendant’s participation in Michael Jackson’s death.”
Digging deeper, Steve Cooley’s move is a preemptive measure of making Michael Jackson an unsympathetic character in front of the jury. The District Attorney also wants to prevent Conrad Murray’s team from attacking Michael Jackson’s bodyguard — Alberto Alvarez. The bodyguard claims that he was ordered by Dr. Conrad Murray to hide the Propofol evidence inside the King of Pop’s bedroom.
The bodyguard was convicted of misdemeanor 11 years ago, but District Attorney Steve Cooley believes that it’s irrelevant with the case.
