Samsung Resumes Gingerbread Update for Galaxy S I9000

Samsung Galaxy S I9000 users are in for some sweet treat, as the company resumes its Android 2.3 software update afresh.

Good news for all owners, rolled out its update anew for the said device. It should be recalled that the company first released the software update last March through the Kies software. However, it was pulled out due to undisclosed issues. But rumors had it that the delay was caused by some bugs.

The Gingerbread update is now available for UK, but might take a while for other carriers. The Android 2.3 should bring improved performance, less battery drain and some usability tweaks. Let’s just cross our fingers that the software update will go smooth, so that every Galaxy S users will enjoy.
