The diva strikes back.

Supermodel is furious over an advertisement of Cadbury comparing her to a chocolate bar.

This week, Cadbury, a company owned by Kraft, refused to pull the said ad and Campbell is looking at every option after the company refused to follow her request.

“I am shocked. It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people. I do not find any humour in this. It is insulting and hurtful,” the super model said about the issue.

Naomi Campbell’s mother Valerie Morries was also disappointed about the ad campaign: “I’m deeply upset by this racist advert. Do these people think they can insult black people and we just take it? This is the 21st century, not the 1950s. Shame on Cadbury.”

A representative from Cadbury said that the advertisement was created with light-hearted approach towards social pretensions of Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss. He added that the company will no longer re-publish the said ad.
