Squrl, a video curation platform for watching videos on your own time caters to those who appreciate the on-demand and platform-agnostic news-reading experience.

A “watch-later” video service, is updating its web and mobile offering to make it even easier for users to collect, organize and access videos on the web, using the app or via TV, on Tuesday.

The update allows users to access a host of updates which includes better video discovery tools, new community and sharing features, the ability to access existing YouTube playlists and a “Play All” option in the app for nonstop playback of videos in a playlist.

Mark Gray, co-founder and CEO of Squrl explains, “Users can unlock a powerful video curation platform that makes it easy to discover community-driven video galleries across a wide range of topics, and the ability to watch video through the eyes and collections of others.”

While browsing through the application, users can now minimize videos and continue watching. Vide playlists in the iOS apps are AirPlay-compatible as well, this means that users can push their curated playlists to their television sets and watch them via second generation .

Squrl is a user friendly startup with free apps for web, and iPad. Apps will also be available for several tablets.
