Universal Music Signs to Apple’s iCloud Service

At long last! Apple has finally signed the last of the four major record labels - Universal Music - to its iCloud service.

CNet reports that has signed to its service. That said, the Cupertino-based company will now be able to launch its service for and users ‘soon’.

“The agreement means that Apple now has the rights to offer recording rights from all of the major labels. In addition, Apple has reached agreements with some of the large publishers, the sources said.”

In addition to this, Apple also announced that they will detail the iCloud at their WWDC keynote on June 6, Monday. The company will only store music purchased through first. However, Apple is planning to include music bought outside ‘sometime in the future’
