After reaching $65 million worth of settlement, the Winklevoss twins finally decided to end the case against Mark Zuckerberg.

After seven years, Tyler and Cameron finally ended their long-time battle against ’s . The twins have shown their dominant side during the lawsuits’ days, as they tried to take the case in the 9th Circuit Court — and even to the Supreme Court due to the so-called “Facebook’s misleading information”.

The Winklevoss brothers – together with their friend Divya Narendra – reported recently to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco, and stated that they are now ending the legal case against Facebook after taking some “careful consideration.” The brothers will then take the $65 million dollar original settlement.

The saga between the Winklevoss twins and Mark Zuckerberg started last November 2003, when Harvard’s twins asked the Facebook CEO’s help to write the code for their social networking site — the . Mark Zuckerberg, agreeing to take the job, eventually dropped the work and came out with a competitor, “TheFacebook.com”.

Facebook, pertaining to the twins’ recent decision, stated: “We’ve considered this case closed for a long time, and we’re pleased to see the other party now agrees.”
