Band from London Creates Music Video through Instagram

The Vaccines relay on the iPhone app to gather content for their music video.

The English indie rock band The Vaccines formed in London a year ago. The band released their debut album entitled ‘What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?’ last March 14, 2011 under Columbia Records. It reached number 4 in the UK album charts.

For their upcoming single entitled ‘Wetsuit’, the band thought of using Instagr.am to set up an online gallery and use the photos gathered here as content for their music video.

On their site, the band posted three simple steps for fans who would like to contribute photos:

1. Download Instagr.am to your iPhone for free
2. Use it to take photos at festivals. Bands, tents, mud, thrills, spills, the lot!
3. Tag them with #VACCINESVIDEO when you post. We’ll do the rest. Easy
