After being delayed several times, Lenovo is finally ready to ship its IdeaPad U1 sometime in November.

The shipping of was often delayed due to multiple reasons. But now that the and Windows-based hybrid tablet and net-book combo had successfully reached the through an approval filing, there’s no turning back!

According to a letter attached in the filing, the shipping of the said device will start on November 22. Take note that this date is not yet official, as the filings often give unclear schedules. Though the company won’t be releasing the U1 on that specific date, consumers may assume that they can purchase the device around that range of time. The not-yet-released tablet features an Android system and a 1.3GHz Snapdragon processor.

The IdeaPad U1 was initially publicized last January 2010, but its debut was delayed due to the release of Apple’s iPad. Lenovo updates the tablet using an Android system, instead of Linux OS, in order to stay competitive. Due to series of delays, Lenovo has been able to launch their sequel tablet – the IdeaPad – ahead of U1.
