LulzSec Hacks The Sun Newspaper, Publishes Murdoch’s Fake Death

LulzSec strikes again by hacking the The Sun's homepage, and claimed a fake news of the Rupert Murdoch's death.

After a short break, hacking group – – now returns to business by releasing a false announcement about the CEO of News Corporation, . The group ripped off into the servers owned by Murdoch’s UK newspapers and released a bogus report in “,” claiming that Mr. Murdoch was found dead in his garden after ingesting a large amount of palladium.

The said news was even published on a hacked server that is used to show upcoming reports to “”, another international newspaper. LulzSec, after bringing errors to The Sun’s homepage, redirected the site’s link to their Twitter page. According to some reports, the group was able to perform such cyber attacks to The Sun because it is not as established as .

Moreover, most people under the hacking groups LulzSec and , were also affirming that they have already hacked into the ’s mail servers. This fact was not actually surprising since everyone knows that will be the next target of the groups, following the phone hacking scandal — which led to the resignation of most employees of Murdoch empire.

Tweets were also delivered during the day, claiming to be the email addresses and passwords of some executives of News International, including former Chief Executive — Rebekah Brooks.
