Microsoft apologizes to consumers after a controversial tweet.

Xbox360’s official Twitter account, tweetbox360, posted a tweet after the news about ’s death surfaced. The tweet went like this: “Remember by downloading the ground-breaking ‘Back to Black’ over at Zune”.

People from Twitter felt that the company was cashing from the singer’s tragic death. Twitter users quickly responded by saying that the tweet was tactless and vile.

Due to this tweets, immediately posted an apology tweet to their followers. “Apologies to everyone if our earlier Amy Winehouse download tweet seemed purely commercially motivated. Far from the case we assure you.”

In the last attempt to console fans, Microsoft tweeted its condolences: “With Amy W’s passing, the world has lost a huge talent. Our thoughts are with Amy’s family and friends at this very sad time.”
