A source from 9 to 5 Mac recently unveiled that the rumored MacBook Air and Mac Pro models from Apple will finally be released this week along with OS X Lion.
According to the so-called “Mr. X”, the company is shooting to release four new MacBook Air models, together with the latest lineup of two stock configurations — one of which has 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. Earlier reports stated that Apple will be delaying the launch of such devices until the OS X Lion have been installed. The new models to be released include:
MC965LL/A – K21, BETTER, BTR-USA
MC966LL/A – K21, BEST, BTR-USA
MC968LL/A – K78, BETTER, BTR-USA

In addition, Apple is said to be adding three standard stock configurations next to a dedicated “Server” configuration in its current lineup. The updated MacBook Air and Mac Pro models are booked for a launch this coming Thursday, July 14th — a much earlier release compared to the previous reports claiming that the company is aiming for a release sometime in late July or August.
