Singapore Engineers, Creating Human-Robots

By using artificial hormones, engineers of Singapore plan to give robots the emotional feelings that humans have.
Engineers at National University of Singapore are working on different ways to create a robot which has the ability to love. The researchers are planning to give the bots artificial emotional hormones – such as dopamine, seratonin, oxytocin, and endorphin – which flows pertaining to the robot’s feelings. And by using data from MRI brain scans, they also aim to create artificial intelligence that would produce the affection of the robots.
According to the engineers, interaction is the best way to trigger the emotions of the robots. By adding those hormones, the said robots can be bored, jealous, angry, affectionate, or happy — regarding on how people interacts with them.
Like most human relationships, the robots will become really affected through touching, and it may even hate you or love you back.
