New models of RIM BlackBerry 7-based smartphones, now hitting the stores!

Following their earlier plans, and have finally shipped three of their 7-based smartphones.

Sprint announced that it has just made the BlackBerry and the BlackBerry available in stores. The two handsets are said to be the cheapest phones on the line, since the only retails for $150 when purchased online with a contract; while the Bold 9930 costs $200 (also available with a contract). Take note that although this would be the fixed pricing for the devices, some US carriers still plans to offer the phones for $50 more on average.

AT&T, on the other hand, has not yet disclosed any shipment dates for its Bold but currently starts selling the second-generation 4G BlackBerry for only $50 with contract, making the smartphone the least expensive device so far.

The three smartphones share the same 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and five-megapixel camera. However, they differ in other features, such as screens and keyboards. The Blackberry Torch 9810 will be sporting a 3.25-inch, 640×480 display and a five-megapixel camera with autofocus. The Torch 9850, meanwhile, gets a 3.5-inch, 480×800 display with a touch-only option. The Bold 9900 is said to be the thinnest and lightest among the three Blackberry devices. It brings a 2.8-inch, 640×480 screen display with no autofocus camera, but offers a QWERTY keyboard for easy browsing.
