Gmail Voice Calling, Now Offers Cheaper Calls and in 38 Languages

Google kicked off an expanded telephone calling scope from Gmail, with support for over 38 languages and four payment currencies.

just upgraded its services in order to make your voice chatting more superb. The ’s voice calling, which is powered by Voice and was launched way back in August, now a cheaper for international phone calls with over 38 languages available.

Though the company did not mention the exact date of the service’s big break, they have announced that a green phone icon will appear in your Gmail account, notifying you once the voice calling feature is already available for usage in your area.

Moreover, the phone calls will be much affordable for more than 150 countries across the globe. Pierre Lebeau, Google’s product manager, even discussed: “For example, it’s now only $0.10 (or €0.08) per minute to call mobile phones in the U.K., France or Germany (landlines are $0.02/min), $0.15/minute to call mobile phones in Mexico and $0.02/min to call any phone number in China and India.”

Meanwhile, phone calls made within the areas of U.S. and Canada will still stay FREE until the year ends.
