Twitter Renews Social Search Deal With Bing

Twitter has extended its contract with Bing, allowing the social site to continue hosting its real-time "firehose" in search results.

Last Summer, has ended its partnership with and decided to roll out its own G+ network. This matter did not seem to bother the social site, since they also had another real-time deal with for the same services.

In a recently publicized Twitter chat, the two networks announced their plans of extending their real-time search partnership. Both accounts recalled the past two years that they have been working together as partners to include all Twitter’s tweets into Bing’s search engine, and have agreed to “stick together and do bigger and better things.”

According to some reports, Twitter and Bing’s deal were already negotiated earlier this summer. The micro-blogging site was even asking for a price of $30 million a year for its real-time “” in Bing’s search results.
