UK Hackers Attack Russian Embassy Website

The Russian Embassy website was taken down by a DDoS attack in objection to the Prime Minister's first visit to Russia since the killing of Alexander Litvinenko in 2006.

The website of the in London has crashed due to a suspected hacking attack, Reuters reported recently. The said move was made just before Prime Minister, , begins his first visit to Moscow after five years since a Kremlin critic was killed in London.

A DDoS attack is described to be the one in which flood a site with information requests, therefore, making it unavailable to official users. Meanwhile, a Russian embassy spokesman disclosed that the problems with the website began last Friday night. The site turned to be accessible for a short time on Saturday but was down again the following day.
