Arieso Reveals iPhone 4S Uses Twice As Much Data As iPhone 4
Study reveals that iPhone 4S uses twice as much data as the previous iPhone model.
Arieso, a company that optimizes mobile network and performance has released a study that reveals that Apple’s latest iPhone model, iPhone 4S consumes “twice as much data as the previous iPhone model, and even more than IPad tablets due to increasing use of online services like the virtual personal assistant Siri” the report says.
It also reveals that the iPhone 4′s data consumption is only 1.6 higher than the iPhone 3G, while iPad 2 consumes 2.5 times more data than the iPhone 3G.
This study proves that even with the rise of mobile optimized sites, mobile data usage continues to grow exponentially due to the increasing use of network dependent apps.
