Jay-Z Writes a Song for Baby Blue Ivy Carter, Entitled: Glory [LISTEN]
Jay-Z's new song Glory, features baby Blue's voice at the end of the track
Just two days, after Beyonce gives birth to their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, proud poppa Jay-Z has written a song for her daughter, a song named Glory. This song made its debut on the website Life and Times last Monday.
The hiphop track “Glory” features Jay=Z himself and the crying voice of baby Blue (B.I.C.) at the end of the track.
The hiphop royalty dished out intimate details on its lyrics like going through a miscarriage and a child conceived in Paris.
“Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you’d disappear/But nah baby you magic.”
“you’re my child with a child from Destiny’s Child”
“The most amazing feeling I feel/Words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real/ Maybe I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you. You. Glory.”
The power couple also released their official statement confirming the birth of their first born.
“We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.”
“Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. … It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.”
The baby weighed seven pounds and was delivered naturally at the Lenox Hill Hospital on New York’s Upper East Side on Saturday, contradicting the first reports saying that Beyonce underwent a c-section.
