The White House Joins Google+, To Host ‘Hangouts’

The White House joins Google+, will host regular 'Hangouts'.
The White House has followed the President’s lead and launched its own Google+ page. The official White House Google+ page which was announced on Friday, is latest of the current Administration’s efforts to reach out via social media.
“These are just some of the ways that we aim to engage with Americans on the issues that matter the most — and now, we’re pleased to add Google+ to this list.” The White House said on their official blog.
The page aims to keep users up-to-date with news updates and features behind the scene photos and videos. It also encourages users to engage and participate in discussions by hosting regular Hangout chats that will feature administration officials addressing different issues and topics.
