Watch Automatically Adjusts to Different Time Zones

The Seiko Astron is connected to a custom circuit board with a processor and GPS radio
When travelling to countries with different time zones, we normally have to set our watch to the local time and it is really confusing. With Seiko’s Astron watch, we no longer have to adjust the time.
The Astron watch makes use of a processor, that goes with the watch’s custom circuit board. It also features a GPS radio that recognizes the watch’s location, even when mobile. It automatically adjusts the time to the country’s local time zone and date, making sure the time and calendar is always accurate.
The processor showcases a a world map made up of quadrants, which are all connected to all 39 recognized time zones of the world. The watch is powered by a lithium-ion battery that can be solar powered because it features a matrix of seven solar cells.
The watch will be launched this month in three models: the high-intensity titanium model, the stainless steel model and the limited edition model.
