Angry Birds turns two years old this December 11 with new game levels.

Calling out Angry Birds fans! In celebration of Angry Bird’s 2nd birthday, Rovio is offering free upgrade for with 15 new levels.

What’s more is that the original Angry Birds game is unlocked and you can play as much as you can. You can get a glimpse of the first level of each episode.

Also, Rovio partnered with Barnes & Noble to set up scavengers hunts, design contests, games and parades in selected Barnes & Noble’s US stores on December 11.

Toy “R” Us is also joining the fun by cutting down the prices of Angry Birds plush toys and it includes the unlock code for an Angry Birds Chrome “Seasons Greedings” bonus level.

Wife of Rovio Exec Wears Angry Birds-Inspired Long Gown

Wife of Rovio executive brings Angry Birds to a whole new level.

Angry Birds merchandise already started to expand in the form of t-shirts and accessories but the wife of Rovio executive, Peter Vesterbacka, has even a smarter fashion idea. Teija Vesterbacka paid tribute to the widely popular game by wearing an off-shoulder long gown resembling the colors of one character of the game: red, yellow, black and white.

Teija Vesterbacka wore the said dress during an event to celebrate Finland’s Independence at the Finish Presidential Palace on Tuesday. The dress drew mixed reactions from different social networking sites. Some commented it was “epic” while some others were disgusted.

While the wife wore a remarkable dress, Peter Vesterbacka went to the event wearing a coat and a tie.

Based on the recent records, Angry Birds games have been downloaded 500 million times.

Diablo III Closed Beta Goes Live!

Players who received free invitations via their Battle.net accounts can now download the Diablo III closed beta test.

A closed beta testing for Blizzard’s much-anticipated RPG game, Diablo 3, has just gone live today. And in order to download and install the beta, players must log-on to their Battle.net account and see if they’re one of the lucky few who’ve got free invites.

With the release of the Diablo 3 beta version, one can now predict that the game will be launched very soon, hopefully this Christmas holiday. But unfortunately, Morhaime pointed out that they are not committing for a 2011 release date.
