NASA Feeds Provide a Backdrop to the Quantum Quest Film

As seven NASA missions traverse space dimensions, their collective footage touches aground. Their landing site: the set of a movie called Quantum Quest.
The feeds come from ongoing NASA space travels to the scenes of Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey, which will debut on Saturday at the DragonCon sc-fi convention in Atlanta.
This 3-D animated sci-fi employs the footage as a backdrop, which makes for hyper-realistic scenes. Aside from these elements in the film, Quantum producer Harry Kloor has also enlisted a star-powered cast: William Shatner, Chris Pine, Mark Hamill, Samuel L. Jackson, James Earl Jones and Hayden Christensen, and then this, Neil Armstrong and feature actress Amanda Peet.
