iPad’s Shipping Now Takes 24 Hours

Written on August 30, 2010 by Japhet Writ

For months, customers had to wait an estimated 7 to 10 days for their order to ship. A few weeks ago, iPad shipping times quietly improved to between 3 and 5 days. Now, you can have your touchscreen within 24 hours. That's amazingly fast!

The shipping time for new order of Apple’s Wi-Fi only and 3G-capable iPad now improves to 24 hours, after struggling to meet consumer demand since its release last April. Apple’s effort to respond to their customers is due to supply latency of their various components. However, this shipping improvement suggests that Apple has managed to meet the consumer’s demand for their iPad.
