Kim Kardashian Sues Old Navy to Safeguard Sears Deal

Kim Kardashian files a lawsuit against Old Navy to protect her huge deal with Sears.

People close to the Kardashian clan informed TMZ what’s behind Kim Kardashian’s lawsuit against Old Navy. The answer? A huge deal with Sears.

According to sources, the TV personality feels that Old Navy is trying to mislead people that she is the company’s spokeswoman by using a girl who looked like her. Furthermore, Sears execs feel that Old Navy is trying to compromise the former’s Kardashian Kollection ad campaign. The Kardashian Kollection is an exclusive clothing and bedding line that will launch in about a month and a half.

Sears actually asked Kim Kardashian if she was part of the Old Navy’s ads, as it can create confusion in the market place. That said, the actress must prove her allegation to win her suit. But the main argument here is that Kim Kardashian doesn’t care about her wannabes. A deal that can be worth millions of dollars is what matters.

Samsung entitles Apple iPad users to have a glance of their newest smartphone, the Galaxy S II.

Samsung, along with its ad agency – Starcom – will produce an ad which will be released before the month ends. The said 3D ad is intended to be shown on the company’s top competitor, the Apple iPad.┬áThis first 3D ad presentation will feature Samsung’s newest smartphone — the Samsung Galaxy S II. Though they had pointed out that it’s not really a high-definition preview, the company promised that the ad would be very interactive and might catch the attention of most Apple users.

The 3D ad, which will run in UK, will reveal the Samsung Galaxy S II in different angles by using high-end visual effects, just so people can have a glimpse of its advanced specs. The idea that Samsung will run these ads on such mobile devices produced by their rival company is truly ironic, as tech geeks all know Apple’s claims that Samsung is copying most of the features of their products.

Perhaps these 3D advertisements will not only unveil the Galaxy S II, but will also let users define the real difference between Apple’s devices and Samsung’s.
