Sony lowers Tablet S price by $100, now starts at $400 for 16GB and $500 for the 32GB version.

Sony has cut down the price of its Tablet S by $100. The 16GB sells for $400 while the 32GB version is now available for $500, following a recent $50 price cut that was announced on December 15th.

Sony’s surprise pricing change puts the Tablet S away from Transformer Prime and iPad 2 price range and joins Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, ASUS Transformer and Toshiba Thrive tablets in the mid-range slates category.
