A Happy Easter from the Angry Birds

To commemorate the reason, the popular game is treating its fans to another update for Angry Birds Seasons.

The Easter-themed, 1.4.0 version of the games comes with 15 news levels filled with chocolate eggs, bunny-hat clad pigs and birds angrier than ever.

Rovio, maker of the addicting mobile game, also previously released special holiday versions of the game for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s day.

Angry Birds Seasons can be downloaded from the app store for 99 cents and $1.99,for the iPhone and iPad versions, respectively.

Celebrate St.Patrick’s Day with Angry Birds

Rovio’s “Mighty Eagle”, Peter Vesterbacka, announced during their GDC panel that the top-billed game Angry Birds will be having its seasonal update.

St.Patrick’s day is coming to Angry Birds Seasons. After the Pink Valentine’s Season update, here comes the fowls with another seasonal offering. Are players gonna see little leprechaun birds? one things for sure, expect the update right before St. Patrick’s Day.

Rovio also mentioned something about the Angry Birds Rio game, a tie-up with the upcoming animated film:

“We could make it work nicely with Angry Birds and the backstory. It could be the first time the birds leave the island, and are kidnapped by smugglers. This is not one of these lame movie games, but a separate game that works nicely with teh movie.”

Angry Birds Rio will be out come March 22, for $.99 on Apple’s App Store.

Angry Birds Season Brings a Merry Christmas to Android

Let the holiday season roll! The ‘Angry Birds Seasons’ is finally here. The 45 Halloween-themed levels of Angry Birds entitle ‘Season’s Greetings’ is now available to Android mobile phones. The game is comprised of 25 levels and a new level is unlocked as Christmas approaches. It’s like a Christmas countdown of  pig slinging! Too bad, iPhone users need to wait a little more for this app.
