Are we finally seeing our favorite birds on sling-shot on TV?

Angry Birds on the boob tube? Surprise!

Why not? Since this game has already proven their dominance in the Apple App Store and Android Market, why not  the television industry? Techland claims that the popular game will soon fly over television sets. According to Rovio CEO Mikael Hed, the popular game will have its own animated series that could appear on TV.

However, the Angry Birds series isn’t official yet. As the Angry Bird big boss is still undecided about it and they haven’t decided yet whether to put it on TV or Internet. Nevertheless, the series is up and about and will start production anytime soon. This isn’t the first non-App franchise for the game, Mattel will soon release an Angry Birds game set which lands this May.

Vonage sounds good, but Vonage Mobile for Facebook absolutely sounds better.

VoIP giant Vonage is banking on Facebook’s hub of all social networks status, by introducing an app that lets Android and iOS users make free calls to their Facebook friends. This capability is quite similar to VOiP enabled apps such as Skype and Fring, but this time it is Facebook. With probably millions to benefit from this move, Vonage has come up with a pretty thoughtful act.

The Vonage Mobile for Facebook app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Android Store right to your iPhone, iPod touch or Android smartphone. There is no requirement for users to subscribe to Vonage, but the app must be installed in your friends’ phones and yours to be able to make the calls. A “V” logo appears next to the names of users who have the Vonage app on their mobiles, but you can chat with non-app users and invite them to add the Vonage app on their device.
