ASUS GeForce GTS 450 Arrives

ASUS folks also fabricated their own GeForce GTS 450 cards. They call their high-end chip the ENGTS450, which will be otherwise if not more popularly known as GeForce GTS 450 DirectCu TOP edition.
The Top is designed with a custom PCB underneath a monster cooler, DirectCu. One notable thing that ASUS integrated in its treatment of the GTS 450: the card comes factory clocked at a sweltering 925 MHz, which converts to 1850 MHz on the shader processors, and with an effective memory clock of 4000 MHz. As it is not the only GTS 450 edition out there, it is laudable in its running second in the clock race.
Being enlisted in the ENGTS450 DirectCU Series, the graphics card looks sturdy with more superior quality components, extended durability and improved overclockability and stability.
Asus also builds in a two 8-mm thick heatpipes that assuage heat a little better.
The card comes with one SLI connector for a 2-way SLI with this card on a maximum. A 6-pin PEG power connector also comes in handy with the package. For monitor connectivity, three connectors are also available in analog D-SUB (VGA), HDMI and DVI forms.
